Progress On New Northland Ice Rink

Skeeter Moore is back at it again today, hoping to complete the new ice rink at Northland in time for the weekend. Moore, with some assistance from the turf staff, has put in quite a few hours this week constructing the boards and laying down the first few layers of ice.

When we spoke with him around noon today he indicated the rink will need a few more floodings before it will be ready for full service. With perfect weather conditions for ice making, Moore has hopes this can be done so the first skaters might be able to hit the ice by at least Sunday.
