Superintendent Chris Tritabaugh has provided a new and timely update on his blog concerning course conditions at Northland. Some much needed rainfall is expected to move into our region late this afternoon. The forecast doesn't call for any significant downpour, but it's something. The weekend ahead looks dry before some more unsettled weather early next week. What does this mean to the golf course? Here's how Chris' update begins:
As everyone is certainly aware we are in the midst of an exceptionally dry period of weather. The spring was very dry and it has now been followed by a very dry beginning to the summer. Since the beginning of May we are nearly 4.5 inches behind average rainfall.Read the entire update here>
