A few years ago, an attempt was made to control the spread of Buckthorn on the Northland property, by cutting much of it back. Now, another attempt is being made and this one may have more success. A few years ago, while the plant was cut back, its roots were not chemically treated to prevent regrowth. In this new effort, the chemical application should begin to destroy the root system.
